Covers: Long Black Veil

I was reminded of this song by this Twitter post. “Long Black Veil” was recorded in 1959 by Lefty Frizzell. The version i know best is the 1968 recording by the Band on Music from Big Pink. I saw them perform it live in 1974. They also performed it at Woodstock.

I don’t know if this from the afternoon show (which I saw) or the evening show. I do remember that they played the song.
