Early Jess Franco films
Jess Franco is known for making erotic horror films but his earliest films are more conventional. I watched four and liked them all. They’re all in black and white and on Blu-ray discs.
The Awful Dr., Orlof (1961) is a horror film about a doctor who wants to if his daughter’s damaged face.
Franco Noir has two films – Rififi in the City (1963) and Death Whistles the Blues (1964). They’re both film noirs.
The Diabolical Dr. Z (1965) is another mad doctor film

Daisies (1966 film)
This is an excellent film. It’s available on DVD from Criterion as part of a set of Czech films and on Blu-ray from Second Run. I expect a new disc reissue from this restoration.
update: It’s now in the Criterion Collection.
