Democrats do not defend MS-13 gang members.
Democrats don’t want open borders with criminals rushing in.
Democrats are patriots – their campaign did not deal with Russia, an enemy of the US.
Democrats are in favor of fair taxes, not giving most of the breaks to the rich.
Democrats want the negotiations with North Korea to be successful. There is justified skepticism based on Trump’s behavior and prior history of negotiations with North Korea.
I am tired of Trump’s divisive lies and insults. Sure, all politicians criticize their opponents but Trump’s talk has been extreme. He has no interest in unifying the country. He only cares about his base.
I am also sick of the term “libtard”. I don’t call conservatives “conservatard”.
Sorry this is a few months late, but I have to agree. I am incredibly tired of Trump(or The Orange Menace as I like to call him). Just tonight I sent him a scathing tweet when it appears he had the nerve to blame Canada,MY OWN COUNTRY,for starting the wildfires in California. Now I know I should probably stay away from the issue as this is an American problem but discussions with others inform me that this is a GLOBAL issue. And to be honest,I do see what they mean.
Trump has eradicated relations with close allies, especially Canada, and cozies up to dictators as though they were next door neighbours. Not only has he lied to the American public since the start of his campaign,he sends his press secretaries out to do the same. He has engaged in nepotism by putting family members in White House positions. He goes to political rallies and spends almost the entire time endorsing himself instead of the candidate he’s supposed to be supporting. He has suggested the idea of locking up and punishing political rivals and anyone who dares to criticize him. I will give him the economy. He has demonstrated his nature of racism and misogyny,as well as being supportive of neo-nazism and other organizations that preach hate and prejudice. He believes in the preservation of the 2nd Amendment(right to bear arms)while fighting to eradicate the first(free speech)by declaring any criticism of him by the media “fake news”(a term I absolutely despise).
What really gets me mad(beside the subject of my tweet)is that people actually support him. They use every excuse in the book to defend his actions, and it’s ridiculous! This leads me to the following two questions:1)Why do people go out of their way to defend this useless moron as President when they hear the words coming right out of his mouth as I have from actually watching him on TV?Is it because I’m from another country that I can comprehend that he has no business in politics?
My second question is this:Given how things are going and will most likely not be changing,is the United States becoming a dictatorship?Honestly, that would be scary, not just for Americans but for Canada too.

Sorry to be so late to respond
1) It’s like they’re cult members, Trump has trained them to ignore anyone who disagrees with him. I have a buddy who’s a Trump supporter. There’s no point in showing him the Washington Post or New York Times. He would not believe what they say. They really think he is telling the truth.
2) I don’t think the US will become a dictatorship but we are learning how fragile our democracy is. It will take decades to undo the damage Trump has done. Will any country (other than Russia) trust us? Of course, I am assuming that the Democrats win the House this year and the Presidency in 2020. The Democrats will have about 20 candidates and could screw it up. The Trump cult is not the majority of the people but they do have the power. I assure you that the majority understands climate change, is not pro-Russia, is in favor of keeping Roe v. Wade, etc. Trump’s views represent a minority. Republicans in Congress are afraid to speak out because Trump is much more popular than they are. Because of gerrymandering, it will be moderate Republicans who lose in House races and the party will become even more right wing.
3) Most Americans still have favorable views of Canada. Here’s a new poll:
