8th Circuit nominee Jonathan Kobes is the sixth Trump judicial pick to be rated Not Qualified by the ABA. @SenateMajLdr McConnell wants him confirmed this week anyway.

Kobes was a GOP Senate staffer and in-house counsel with an energy company. He has argued just one federal appellate court case (which presented no novel issues) and has only ever been involved in six federal or state appeals. Surely @BenSasse will oppose. Right, Ben? https://t.co/H4EINwpxTr

Jonathan Kobes is up for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He's one of six Trump nominees rated UNQUALIFIED by the @ABAesq and has no experience as a judge.
Senators must oppose his nomination.

The Senate will vote on yet another nominee the American Bar Association rates “not qualified.” Jonathan Kobes, age 44, is nominated to a lifetime appointment to the Eighth Circuit. He’s never been a judge, has tried only SIX cases, and has argued only ONE appeal – 15 years ago.

This week, Senate could confirm 30th Trump circuit judge. Meet Jonathan Kobes:

Argued only one appeal, 15 yrs ago
ABA: Writing not reflective of complex legal analysis
8th Circuit & nation deserve better. #StopKobes
