Obama was not going to war with North Korea. We’ve been through this before but Trump continues to lie about it.
Trump got it backwards: We didn't avoid war with North Korea because of him, we damn near got *into* a war there because of him, and praising himself for averting it is like a golfer who celebrates a shot out of the sand bunker he shouldn't have been in.

“If I had not been elected President of the US, we would right now, in my opinion, be in a major war with North Korea with potentially millions of people killed.” – Trump

Fact check: Are you kidding me?
I'd nominate the fictional war with North Korea he fictionally prevented as Trump's biggest lie these days. No one even remotely thought that was going to happen.

The odds of war with North Korea went up because of Trump’s bellicose rhetoric in 2017. He’s taking credit for flipping from threatening “rocket man” to flattering him.
