Plate spinning and “Sabre Dance”

I remember plate spinners on TV shows like the Ed Sullivan show. They were usually accompanied by “Sabre Dance” by composer Aram Ilyich Khachaturian.

Like this author, I was unable to find a video of plate spinning accompanied by “Sabre Dance” but I always link the two.

I have looked for a video of plate spinning to Sabre Dance as well with the same results. Lots of plate spinning, lots of Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance but never the two together. I’m glad to hear that someone else links the two and I’m not simply inventing that memory in my old age!
