Terrible decision.
This is one of these days when I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall as WH officials discuss how to frame a decision that a) reverses an earlier announcement and b) betrays core supporters and c) earns them nothing but grief.

Confirmed from a WH official on refugee cap: President Biden will keep the refugee cap number at 15,000. He is going to be changing the regional allocation of those refugees.

Biden, Feb. 16: "We used to allow refugees, 125,000 refugees, into the United States on a yearly basis. It was as high as 250,000. Trump cut it to 5,000. Come with me into Sierra Leone. Come to me into parts of Lebanon…." 1/2
