Rank the states by new covid cases reported yesterday per 100K, and Trump won the top 8 (and 18 of the top 19) and Biden the bottom 18. Looking back, NFIB v. Sibelius (2012) began an era when health outcomes increasingly diverged by party control of state government.

The number of new Covid-19 cases in the U.S. is also very worrisome. Here’s perspective. Three months ago, there were 11,000 new cases every day in the U.S. Now, the new seven-day average is 150,784 new cases every day. Again – get a shot. Protect yourself from the Delta variant.

The latest Covid-19 numbers in the U.S. are very disturbing. The new seven-day average for daily deaths is now 1,905. Three months ago, there were about 200 daily deaths in the U.S. Clearly, the Delta variant is highly transmissible. Get vaccinated.

Covid deaths now up to about 1,900 a day, meaning the equivalent of a new 9/11 roughly every 38 hours. But a hopeful sign: New infections have been falling in Florida and the South. @Sam_Bakerhttps://t.co/lwioJ0nZbR
