Trump has been running for office since 2015 and the media still does a poor job of covering him. His terrible pro-Russia and anti-NATO remarks from yesterday are much more important and newsworthy than a few Biden gaffes.
I agree it you but right now (6:53 pm Saturday) both iPhone versions lead w Biden pic.twitter.com/QrvUYDddB7

The New York Times and Washington Post are doing better this morning. On the iPhone versions of their sites, Trump’s terrible NATO comments are the top story on the Post and second on the Times. pic.twitter.com/ItWklY4CLG

The lack of self-awareness, on the part of the NYT's political-coverage staff, will loom large in accounts of the media/politics of our age.

The top four stories on The New York Times website are negative stories about Biden’s health and age and memory. Even the one story that mentions Trump takes a shot at Biden.

The Times, like much of our media, has learned nothing from the media debacle of 2016, it seems. pic.twitter.com/PFaHQMBbpM
Trump inviting Russia to attack NATO allies should be one of the biggest stories of this election. The fact that it's not even on the front page of the NYT or Washington Post (while stories about Biden's age are) is a disgrace to journalism. https://t.co/1urTOFyq4e

In an explosive statement yesterday, Donald Trump encouraged Russia to attack NATO countries. There is no mention of it on today's New York Times or Washington Post front pages. It's as if it didn't happen. Instead, the top stories are about President Biden's age. pic.twitter.com/7efH5Kxv7P

Headline in @washingtonpost says “suggests”. He didn’t suggest it; he SAID it. pic.twitter.com/st1NJKqyqZ

Washington Post is finally leading with this story, and with a strong, accurate headline too. pic.twitter.com/uBOGwqGaJB

So I tried to give the Post the benefit of the doubt last night, Sunday print edition closed too early to highlight Trump’s shocking statement that he would blow up NATO and invite Russia to invade our allies. Here is Monday’s. Nada. Sleepwalking to dictatorship pic.twitter.com/PEEhMDmy7h
