He never would have been nominated in 2016 without the excessive media coverage. Trump is terrible but he knows how to get attention. Of course, the GOP is at fault for nominating him but the media has given him a big assist. Don't put liars on TV.

Trump has been given special treatment by media from day one and still gets it.
Trump should never be televised without live fact checking. There would be fewer viewers for a post lie-fest checking show. There’s no incentive for Trump and his cult to stop lying if networks keep broadcasting the lies.
