The rich owner of the LA Times prevented the paper from endorsing Harris. Is something similar happening at the Washington Post? Are their wealthy owners intimidated by Trump’s threats against the media? Cowards!

“Outlets from the Los Angeles Times to perhaps even the Washington Post are engaging in… anticipatory obedience — pulling back from their obligation to tell the truth in order to placate the tyrant so he doesn’t come after them,” @ianbassin says. https://t.co/DGTFqrPatQ

"They're the enemy of the people, they are"
"I've been asked not to say that… They're the enemy of the people, and some day they're not gonna be the enemy of the people, I hope."

This is cowardice, with democracy as its casualty. @realdonaldtrump will see this as an invitation to further intimidate owner @jeffbezos (and others). Disturbing spinelessness at an institution famed for courage.

It’s also possible that publisher William Lewis, a British conservative and Murdoch veteran, would have a role if Post declines to endorse. Post Editorial page has a long history of endorsing Democrats for president and has roundly condemned Trump for various things.

THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA PROFITS OFF TRUMP — they have an inherent bias and must NOT be taken at face value
