Social Security stops reporting call wait times and other metrics
This is terrible. I worked at SSA (not on this stuff) and know that statistics were always available. Did they just turn off the reports? Eliminate the programming of the reports? Get rid of old data? Fire the people responsible for reviewing the reports? I wonder if they still have actuaries or anyone involved with statistics.
When we get a real president, it will be very hard to rebuild the government. It will be like starting from scratch. You will need money (which Republicans will oppose), staffing, facilities, etc. I don’t think the government will ever be what it was just six months ago.
