Trump and his officials sometimes say they don’t know about something they clearly should have heard of. Are they dumb or lying? I think they are lying. They just don’t want to offend their bigoted cult or discuss things that would make them look bad.

I think he’s lying and does know about Roof. He wouldn’t want to criticize Roof because it would probablyupset Trump and his bigoted supporters.
