Trump and his cult will not accept a loss in 2024 just like in 2020. They will do more to wreck the results by installing election officials, changing laws, and not certifying results not favorable to Trump. Look at Georgia for example.

Can’t the FBI find out the truth about the extent of Trump’s injury?

I don’t get it. Can’t they ask the doctors and local police who were there? if the media has made a real effort to find out and people won’t talk to them, that’s news and should be reported. I am guessing that Trump and his cult have intimidated the media and threatened them if they report anything other than Trump’s story. Trump has no credibility because he lies constantly.

It’s shocking that FBI Director Wray doesn’t know what really happened and doesn’t appear to be making an effort to find out.

Lack of factual information breeds conspiracy theories about the Trump assassination attempt

The Trump assassination attempt was real. One person was killed and others were injured. I despise Trump but condemn any effort to kill him. It’s also real that very little information has been provided to the public. The doctors have said nothing. I distrust anything coming from Trump or his cult. He may have been hit with a bullet. He may have been hit with glass from the teleprompter. Why won’t anyone give us the details? The longer this goes, the more I distrust the Trump story. The media, which is obsessed with Biden’s health, needs to do more to get information on this.

The potential for the election to be a disaster is strong.

  1. Trump and his cult are already saying the election will be rigged and they won’t accept the results if they lose.
  2. The latest polls show Biden slightly ahead in the popular vote but behind in most swing states. This raises the possibility of another election where the popular vote and electoral college results are different. This would be the third time in the 2000s (after 2000 and 2016). There were none of these in the 25 elections in the 1900s. This would be a fiasco for our country. We should get rid of the electoral college but I doubt it will ever happen.
  3. Republicans will engage in voter suppression. Last time they even handled voting machines. There will also probably be efforts to help Trump from his pals like Putin who benefit from Trump. Will Democrats accept the results if Biden loses and it appears shady stuff happened?
