Republicans are trying to alter the Nebraska electoral vote process

This is terrible. It is very possible that, just like in 2000 and 2016, the Democrat will win the popular vote and the Republican will win the electoral college.

My memories of taking drugs

Let’s just say I inhaled. I never took drugs or even smoked a cigarette in high school. That changed when I went to college.

Marijuana – I had pot before I had a cigarette. When I smoked tobacco, I thought “I’m not getting anything from this”. I only had 15-20 cigarettes and never bought a pack.

Speed – I liked speed. There were white crosses (pills) and black beauties (capsules) which were much better. I would buy 25 at a time. I think they were 50 cents each back in the mid-1970s. One time I took four capsules – one of my legs was shaking and I couldn’t stop it. I used speed a lot during midterms and finals. I wrote a paper about 32 pages long during 45 hours which included about 3 hours of sleep. Speed made your stomach feel bad.

LSD – this includes pills sold as mescaline that were probably acid. I liked it. it made you think. in my day, it had a lot of speed in it; you could reduce the effect of the speed by drinking beer. The first time I took acid, I saw the first x-rated animated film Fritz the Cat. The colors were very intense. Another time, I recall looking out a fourth-floor window onto a street just after it had rain. A car was passing by and the mirror image in the wet street seemed as real as the car.

Cocaine – I tried this three times in the late 1970s after college. I really liked it and could see how people got hooked on it. However, it’s been so long ago, that I can’t recall why I liked it.

Quaaludes – I was much more into uppers than downers. I remember seeing college kids crawling on the floor. This was not for me. Young people know about quaaludes from the film The Wolf of Wall Street. This post discusses my one experience with them which was also the last time I took drugs:https://wp.me/p9tp7w-6kJ

New tweets on artists who don’t want Trump to use their music

Was waiting for this: Heart's Nancy Wilson calls out Trump for blasting "Barracuda" during his military parade.A “powerful piece of music that was never intended for political use" and used "without permission or authorization from us." http://www.huffpost.com/entry/nancy-…

“According to a new cease-and-desist letter reviewed by Rolling Stone, the organizers for Trump’s military parade were explicitly told they did not have permission to use the song, acknowledged that they did not have permission, & then… “illegally” used the song for Trump’s festivities regardless.”

It's the TRUTH, we are ALL Americans, as Kenny Loggins says. I'm a Democrat, I denounce Hamas, I love OUR country as do the MILLIONS that peacefully protested 10/18/25. It is OUR 1st Amendment rights, last I checked. But we are ALL Americans. It's EVERYONE'S country, NOT theirs & we will PERSEVERE!🙏

Eliminate the Electoral College

I live in MD which is a very blue state in presidential elections. We rarely see presidential candidates. There are lots of commercials for the Senate race but few for the presidential.

It’s different after candidates become president. The president makes lots of appearances to MD which is close to DC and to big states,
