Obama did much more than Trump to reduce African-American and Hispanic unemployment

Trump keeps bragging about low unemployment but he is just continuing the trend started under Obama.  To be fair to Trump, I am sure it is harder to reduce unemployment once the rates are already low.

Trump may have violated a federal rule

Trump hinted at a good jobs report in a tweet this morning before the stock market opened.

The article linked to in the tweet below states: “President Trump broke years of presidential protocol on Friday morning with a tweet that signaled a strong jobs report was on its way from the Labor Department, an hour before the report was released.
While the White House brushed off any notion that Mr. Trump had crossed a line, legal experts said the tweet raised possible insider trading concerns and economists said it was a blatant misuse of presidential power.”

Unemployment is down to 3.8%

The unemployment rate has fallen to 3.8%, the lowest it has been since 2000.

This is excellent news and Trump deserves some of the credit.  The problem is that he and his followers take all of the credit instead of acknowledging how much was accomplished during the Obama administration.

Look at the graph in the tweet below.  You can see this is just a continuation of a trend that started in 2010.
