The right wing will lie with pictures as well as words. Sad!
Another day, another viral caravan hoax. I reported this to FB earlier today, when it had <10,000 shares. (It's a photo of a border detention center published by @HoustonChron in 2014, nothing to do with caravan.) Still up, and now at 33,000 shares. pic.twitter.com/jo5oT45gPT

A group of Honduran migrants traveling through Mexico toward the United States has attracted lots of attention, including a litany of false statements circulating on social media. Here is a closer look at five widely shared images of the caravan: https://t.co/mUbHyVsdWB

Viral photo showing Mexican police being dragged is from 2014, not the migrant caravan https://t.co/M3ZQ7AyLtL pic.twitter.com/glVR3Nba3r

Tons of misinformation about the caravan floating around. This photo of a bloodied police officer has tens of thousands of shares on a few big FB pages. It was taken in 2012, and has nothing to do with the caravan. pic.twitter.com/CPxPBygbRv

Notice Ginni Thomas calls the caravan an invasion. The alleged Pittsburgh shooter called the caravan members invaders so I guess that’s the buzz word on the extreme right.
A photo of bloodied law enforcement officers from 2012 was used to make false claims about the migrant caravan. Here’s Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, helping spread it: https://t.co/03omMOnwPS pic.twitter.com/2bqji6TwwH
