This is nonsense. As a retired federal employee, I am well aware of the complex government contracting process to make sure bidding is fair. You don’t just award a contract. I assume this is all a lie.
Sorry to interrupt, Mr. President, but it’s Congress, not the Oval Office, that holds the power of the purse. Congress has forbidden what you bragged you just did. You’re making it harder by the hour for those of us who keep saying we mustn’t rush to impeach. Give us a break! https://t.co/jJ9VKy07vU

.@PressSec @KellyannePolls : A few questions: To whom was this contract given? What was the process under which it was given? Were there bids? Is it customary under the Trump Administration for multi-billion contracts to go to the president’s desk? https://t.co/StzBaNogVi

Details are sketchy, like your tweet, but it sounds to me like you’ve just invited another investigation& lawsuit, this time under the Federal Aquisition Regulation +other govt contracting rules. Not sure even Fake Acting Attorney General Whitaker can save you from all of this. https://t.co/gKlETFWGMU
