Here's one of @realdonaldtrump's former employees — an undocumented woman who says Trump Org knew she was undocumented — showing she paid more income tax than Trump did. https://t.co/0GErg8y0nU

"In a close election, everything counts," @DavidCornDC writes. "And this revelation underscores that Trump is a phony. That he cannot be trusted. That he is not the success he claims to be. This is the curtain that Trump never wanted pulled back." https://t.co/suWipZqI76

The first thing Trump did when he took office was take away property tax deductions for folks in blue states that didn’t vote him. My taxes went up significantly as did most of my friends in NY & CA while he paid a measly $750 and gave the richest 1% a huge cut. @realDonaldTrump

Abraham Lincoln paid 3x more in taxes in 1864 than Donald Trump in 2016. Not more as a share of his income. More in taxes. Lincoln paid $1981.67 in federal taxes on a salary of $25,000 in 1864-1865. Trump paid $750 in 2016, about one-third what Lincoln paid, but 151 years later.

Lots of people making these points, but let me join the chorus. The revelation that Trump paid almost no taxes, while easy to explain, is the least important part of the scandal. 1/

Donald Trump in 2011 audio said lower-income Americans should have to pay taxes to 'be a part of the game' and said he paid 'a lot' https://t.co/FcrsDrLtSi

Again, folks in the media shouldn’t be asking whether this story will move Trump voters. Since Trump is significantly behind Biden, the question is will this new info make it harder for Trump to change the mind of a portion of current Biden voters.
