Republicans are using Trump’s big lie about voter fraud to try to pass bills that would increase voter suppression. They want to make it harder to vote because they know, and some have even said it out loud, that they lose if everyone votes. Democrats in Congress need to get rid of the Senate filibuster and pass the voter rights bill.

Republicans used to defend voter suppression laws by saying the laws prevented fraud. The new justification is that the laws will restore confidence that there wasn't fraud. The problem is that any lack of confidence was solely the result of lies told by Trump and the GOP.
