It’s really hot here in Baltimore. My phone says it feels like 90 degrees at 5:50 pm. How will global warming affect outdoor summer sports? I assume future stadiums will have domes. The heat may prove too much for both athletes and fans. We’ll have to see but the problem will only get worse. How hot will it be in July in 2043? Will the summer Olympics have to be moved to an earlier or later month of the year?
I found tweets saying climate change is increasing the number of home runs.
9/8/23 We are finishing a week in Baltimore where the heat index frequently was over 100 and actual temperatures were in the 90s. Fortunately, the Orioles were out of town but that’s just like. What’s it going to be like in 20 or 30 years?
