For now, I have not canceled my subscription.
A few people emphasize that staff are very upset that Murray said he doesn’t know the total number of subscribers who have canceled their subscription since last week (Murray said even if he knew, he was afraid to share the number for fear of it leaking).

Murray would not confirm how many subscribers the Post has lost but said the paper is expecting a "bumpy" few weeks. He added that he can't speak to whether Bezos would offset the financial hit the Post is taking, but said he's had zero discussions about potential layoffs.

The owner’s view:
Politico Global EIC: Jeff Bezos “would be better off, and so would the Post, if he sold the property or somehow put it in the hands of a truly independent nonprofit entity. Uproars of the sort we saw this week are only going to keep coming.” https://t.co/veXIEROB75

Post reporters had no part in this decision. But when you cancel, you are hurting us, not our owner.
