The most important new feature was Trump’s use of the word ‘nationalism’. Otherwise, it was the usual lies about the caravan, non-existent new tax cuts, lies about Democrats, etc.
Daniel Dale thread:
Trump is doing a rally with Ted Cruz in Houston. Tweets in this thread.

Trump just now at a Texas rally: "Go into the middle of the caravan. Take your cameras and search…you’re going to find MS-13, you’re going to find Middle Eastern, you’re going to find anything."
Again, zero evidence that the caravan includes anyone from outside Central America.

Trump used to wave me off in 2015-16 whenever I'd bring up the term "nationalism" or "populism." He hated them. Told me Trump the brand was bigger than those words and about "common sense." Never wanted to talk ideology… see this Aug. 2015 intvw, for ex. https://t.co/XxqPpuEXNl

For the past few weeks Fox has been showing its regular talk shows instead of Trump's rallies… but tonight the network is showing Trump's mega rally in Houston start to finish.

The Toyota Center, a stadium with a capacity of 18,000, was nearly full when Trump started, but crowd began trickling out after the one-hour mark. https://t.co/RnzGWzDrbH

Donald Trump just said there were 50,000 people waiting outside his Houston rally waiting to get in. Here's Houston's police chief stating there are 3,000 people outside. https://t.co/0NnRJGYuYh
