OThe Ouija board was invented by Elijah Bond. He applied for a patent in 1890 and made the board in Baltimore. Bond is buried in Baltimore’s Green Mount Cemetery. His grave was not marked until 2008. The marker shows a Ouija board on the backside.

David Macaulay signed my copies of Motel of the Mysteries and Great Moments in Architecture and included drawings. I saw him at a bookstore in Washington in 1994.
I also have an autograph with a drawing from Art Speigelman for Maus II from 1991. I also saw him him in a bookstore in Washington.
The first post reminded me of Tower Records. I used to go to the ones in Washington, DC, and in Manhattan. I still have a bag from there.

One Cut of the Dead is a very funny low-budget Japanese zombie movie. It’s about people making a zombie movie who are attacked by zombies. You see the final film and the behind the scenes action.
