Polls show support for Medicaid

The public does not want the cuts proposed by Republicans.

The fact that 3 out of 4 people (including a majority of Republicans) want to maintain or expand Medicaid as elected Republicans are passing extraordinary cuts to facilitate a regressive tax cut says much about whose interests they prioritize.

KFF poll: 64% view the "One Big Beautiful Bill" unfavorably. Support is higher among MAGA Republicans, but drops significantly when potential impacts on uninsured rates & hospital funding are considered. Medicaid & ACA favorability at all-time highs. #HealthcareReform #News

A new poll from @KFF shows the favorability of the #ACA among Americans is at an all-time high of 66% with approval for #Medicaid at 83%. The bill currently in Senate committees would force millions off of #healthcare coverage, including up to 1/3 of @CoveredCA's 1.98M enrollees

Mississippi Republicans refuse Medicaid expansion despite public support for it

see the poll in the second tweet below

Mississippi Republicans block Medicaid expansion

Covid is up in states that didn’t expand Medicaid

I’m sure this is not a coincidence

Missouri Republicans are blocking Medicaid supported by voters

They don’t care what the majority of voters think. This is disgraceful.
