In my opinion: Nothing.
Democrats will complain but they have no power. Some Republicans will complain but they won’t do anything to discipline Trump such as impeach him. Republicans in Congress know their base supports Trump over them and they will not go against their voters. Republicans are unwilling to pass a law that would prevent Trump from firing Mueller so they won’t do anything after the fact.

Chris Cillizza of CNN thinks the real story of the Trump-Putin call is that the contents of the call and advice Trump had been given was leaked quickly to the press.
I disagree. The real story is why is Trump unwilling to say anything negative to Putin? For example, why not pressure him to stop meddling in our elections and poisoning people in England? Trump is looking out for Russia’s interests, not ours. I really think they have something on him. Sad!

Circumstances were different in 2012 – Russia hadn’t meddled in our elections. Also, Obama pointed out problems with the election.
Trump sucks up to Putin again
Trump congratulated Putin on winning the rigged Russian election. His advisers had recommended that he should not do that.
He didn’t confront Putin on the poisonings in England, Russian meddling in our elections, or their access to our power grid.
I think they leaked the information to the media because they are patriots concerned about Trump’s unwillingness to confront Putin, not because he ignored their advice.
I continue to think Russia has something on Putin. I’m not the only one speculating about this. I am guessing it’s financial dealings, not a pee tape. Sad!
