How can anyone vote for this scumbag?

I don’t think Trump is really trying to win the popular vote

I think Republicans plan to win the election through

not certifying votes
getting people thrown off the voter rolls
intimidating voters and election officials
getting help from red state legislatures
getting help from the Supreme Court which they control
winning in the House of Representatives if it comes to that

They have seen this approach work – their Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade even though that was not what the majority wanted. They have won in 2000 and 2016 even though they lost the popular vote.

Trump has a much smaller ground operation than Harris. He has changed but for months he told his cult that they didn’t need to vote. Oddly, He is campaigning in states he is unlikely to win.
