Trump would politicize the civil service

This is just one of the bad things that would happen and another anti-government Republican may do it if it’s them instead of Trump. I am a retired federal employee (almost 38 years) and can tell you that non-political appointees (which is all but a few thousand) do their job regardless of who is president. Unlike Trump and his gang, civil servants respect the Hatch Act and don’t let politics affect their job. Trump has damaged IRS, the Secret Service, and the Post Office. I think he (or another Republican) would harm the whole government (and the services it provides to the public).

Biden undid the harm Trump caused at the end by eliminating Schedule F but it could come back in the future. There are a series of articles on Axios.

Nothing will convince Big Lie believers of the truth

It has been over a year and a half since the 2020 election. There has been no evidence of significant fraud. Yet, 28% still think Trump won. This isn’t going to change. Nothing will convince the Trump cult that he lost. At least the majority knows what happened.

VHS tapes are going for high prices

I picked the wrong side of the Beta-VHS video war. In 1983, I paid about $750 for the first Beta hi-fi VCR. It weighed 32 pounds and basically was an old VCR retrofitted with hi-fi design. In 1986, my house was broken into and the bad guys took the VCR from the third floor to the first floor and left it. Was that because it was too heavy or because it was a Beta? I did eventually buy a VHS VCR.

Do you believe that the Comey and McCabe audits were random?

I don’t. I think it is more likely that Trump made IRS do this. Trump treated everything as political. He had no respect for government integrity and impartiality.
