“Tomorrow Is a Long Time” is a Bob Dylan song. He recorded a demo in 1962 (released in 2010) and a live version in 1963 (released in 1971). Among the covers are versions by Joan Baez, Elvis Presley and Odetta. The tweet below reminded me of it.

Two animated films from Eastern Europe
I recently watched Blu-rays discs of two animated films from Eastern Europe.
Delta Space Mission (1984) from Romania is a science fiction film. The plot and animation aren’t the best but the colors are wonderful. This would be great if you were on drugs. (The first movie I saw on acid was Fritz the Cat so I know what I’m talking about.)
The Old Man Movie (2019) from Estonia uses stop motion animation. It’s a very funny film about rescuing a cow before the udder explodes and causes a catastrophe.

Misleading Washington Post tweet on voting machines
Republicans have “worked the refs”. The Post should have said only Republicans are doing this.

Baseball in Pics on single-season shutout leaders since 1920
Nobody pitches shutouts often now since nobody pitches many complete games and more. Only one item on this list is later than 1978.
Bob Gibson’s 1968 season was amazing. I have posted on it elsewhere on the blog.
The Cardinals won 97 games, Gibson’s ERA was only 1.12 and he still only went 22-9. How did he lose any games with great performances on the NL championship team?
Bad Washington Post tweet on Republican breach of voting machines
Only one party is doing this. The tweet should say so. The investigation in the article is excellent but it still doesn’t say that only Republicans are doing this.
I saw the first Yankees game after Thurman Munson died
I am an Orioles fan so I went to see the Orioles beat the Yankees 1-0 at Yankee Stadium on August 3, 1979. Thurman Munson, star Yankees catcher, died in a plane crash on August 2, 1979.
The players looked like they were just going through the motions which was understandable. They seemed like they just wanted to get it over with. The game only lasted 2:22.
Covers: Must Be Santa
“Must Be Santa” was released by Mitch Miller in 1960. Bob Dylan covered it in 2009. His version was based on the Brave Combo recording. See #4 here.
