My view on the Terry Moran story

The Times and Stelter posts don’t discuss how badly Trump treated Moran in his interview. My replies reminded them. As far as I know, ABC did nothing to defend Moran after Trump lied to him and insulted him. I guess they are all afraid of Trump. I don’t think Moran was right to make his post but he didn’t start this. The posts from the Times and Stelter only show one side of the story.

ABC News is cutting ties with the correspondent Terry Moran after he posted derisive comments online that referred to both President Trump and Stephen Miller, with the term “world-class hater.”

My reply

BREAKING: Terry Moran is out at ABC News. "We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran and based on his recent post – which was a clear violation of ABC News policies – we have made the decision to not renew," an ABC spokesperson says.

Washington Post lets the Trump administration lie on energy

No push back. No investigation. The Post just lets them lie.

President Donald Trump has the authority to entirely abolish protected areas set aside as national monuments by past presidents, according to a legal opinion released by the Department of Justice.

The Washington Post (@washingtonpost.com) 2025-06-10T21:04:05.525Z

You report the Trump Administration claim that they “took American energy infrastructure that was on life support and brought it back to life.”This is nonsense. You need to investigate it. How about this?www.eia.gov/todayinenerg…

Make sure they don’t take credit for projects funded during the Biden administration.

I have no sympathy for Trump voters who are unhappy with his immigration policy

They did this to all of us. F them.

A Trump voter who owns a small roofing company in Florida says ICE detained a third of his workers."You get to know these guys, you become their friends … It's quite a shock." @nbcmiami.com reports: nbcnews.to/3Tm60Eh

NBC News (@nbcnews.com) 2025-06-12T21:41:43.556Z

He voted for Trump. He did this to his employees.

Harris Levy (@harrislevy.bsky.social) 2025-06-12T21:44:23.827Z

All of these folks out here saying, “I voted for Trump, but I didn’t think it would be like this.”I’m not buying it. They knew exactly what they were voting for. He claimed immigrants were eating cats and dogs. FFS!

Trump is putting his name on signs for infrastructure projects funded before his term

Disgraceful

Even though America’s infrastructure is crumbling beneath our feet, Trump paused funding for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act on Day One of his administration. Now, incredibly, he’s slapping his name on signs for jobs funded before his freeze and taking credit for progress…1/2

This should piss us all off.Donald Trump is putting up signs taking credit for the bipartisan Biden Infrastructure Act.He once called Biden's $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Bill “terrible”. But now he’s pretending he signed it.

Don’t compare Trump’s sending the National Guard to LA to actions by prior presidents

President Donald Trump’s deployment of the National Guard to Los Angeles to stop protests against his immigration crackdown isn’t the first time an elected U.S. official has sent troops to thwart unrest over civil rights. What to know about the history of deployments

The Associated Press (@apnews.com) 2025-06-09T23:42:03Z

This isn’t like any of the prior instances. This time, the protests are a direct response to Trump’s lies and possibly illegal actions.

Trump’s attack on education includes cutting Pell Grants

Trump is attacking every source of university income (research grant cancellations, a proposed endowment tax, cutting Pell Grant eligibility and in the 'big beautiful bill' changing the student loan program). It's a declaration of fiscal war on universities with students as collateral damage.

Kim Lane Scheppele (@kimlanelaw.bsky.social) 2025-06-08T19:36:27.102Z

Another attack on higher education and low-income families: Trump aims to slash Pell Grants, which may limit low-income students’ college access. Some students will be forced to drop out, closing yet another avenue to escape the cycle of poverty. http://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/08/w…

Social Media Lab (@socialmedialab.ca) 2025-06-09T10:50:03.680Z

The Trump administration is proposing the biggest cuts in a half-century to federal financial aid by reducing Pell Grant award amounts for low-income college students, plus the government’s contribution to the Federal Work-Study program. Fewer students will likely enroll in college
