This could easily lead to worse violence than 1/6. I’m surprised 100% don’t say Trump will accept the outcome. He has made it clear that the only way he will lose is by cheating.

Voting for Trump doesn’t make you a bigot but it shows you are willing to tolerate bigotry and that’s bad, too.
If I were to talk with a Trump voter, what could I show them to prove that Biden won? They have already been conditioned to not believe sources like the New York Times and Washington Post.
Over the past eight years, I’ve seen plenty of pieces about the need to respect Trump supporters, pieces written by conservatives and liberals, including recently in the NYT. Eliminate the Electoral College
We need the electoral college to protect the interests of rural areas, otherwise the only places politicians would pay attention to are large metro areas like Philadelphia and Atlanta.
— Matthew Yglesias (@mattyglesias) August 28, 2024
Under the electoral college system, excessive attention is given to voters in 6 or 7 states. Big states like CA and NY are ignored. That’s not better than what would happen without the electoral college.
— Harris Levy (@HarrisL585) August 28, 2024
You’re right about attention to large areas. However, more harm has been done by letting the minority dictate policy. Abolish the Electoral College.

I live in MD which is a very blue state in presidential elections. We rarely see presidential candidates. There are lots of commercials for the Senate race but few for the presidential.
It’s different after candidates become president. The president makes lots of appearances to MD which is close to DC and to big states,

Lack of official information is breeding conspiracy theories on the Trump assassination
We still haven’t heard from the first doctor who treated him. The FBI took a long time to make a statement. This bred conspiracy theories ranging from ‘the assassination attempt was fake” to “Democrats arranged the assassination attempt. I don’t believe them but the delays in issuing factual information were harmful.
It is odd that Trump has not attacked the late shooter since he attacks so many other people.
Even MAGA has to admit it's strange that Trump isn't demanding a full investigation into the assassination attempt.
