Nosferatu is 100
Nonsferatu is a great silent film directed by F. W. Murnau. I also recommend Werner Herzog’s 1979 Nosferatu the Vampyre is a fine remake. On the other hand, 1988’s Nosferatu In Venice, which also stars Klaus Kinski who was the vampire in the 1979 film, isn’t nearly as good. They’re all on Blu-ray.

Covers: Respect
“Respect” is a great 1965 Otis Redding record that became an even greater cover when Aretha Franklin recorded it in 1967. I’ve been watching Respect, the 2021 film based on her life which has Jennifer Hudson playing Franklin. There aren’t a lot of other covers. Who could top these two versions?
