Trump pushes hydroxychloroquine without proof that it helps

We don’t know if it helps and there are side effects. They are testing it now but at a minimum, Trump is premature. The use for coronavirus has affected the supply for people who need it for other medical conditions.

This is the drug that Trump has been pushing despite numerous documented risks with taking it. He does not care whether we die https://t.co/ZjHhwmOrmK

Trump delays checks to put his name on them

This is pathetic. These people really need the money but he is putting his ego and political gain first. Sad!

BTW you all realize that check Treasury is sending you with Trump's name scribbled on it is your money, right? It's your tax dollars that congress appropriated. Trump is basically the guy who "lends" you back your own lawnmower he borrowed and has had at his house for months…

In a break in protocol, President Trump’s signature will appear on the economic stimulus checks that will be mailed to millions of Americans. His name will appear on the “memo” section because he is not legally authorized to sign such disbursements. https://t.co/8PXmytQVuZ

Trump’s name will be printed on stimulus government checks sent to tens of millions of Americans, essentially claiming personal credit for himself as no other president has ever done on checks issued with taxpayer money. ⁦@Reinlwapo⁩ https://t.co/AYGcs3dkdY
— Peter Baker (@peterbakernyt) April 15, 2020

Something else:

The IRS has direct deposit information for about 80 million Americans. Their payments will not be delayed by Trump's ego needs.

It's the taxpayers who don't do direct deposit who are exposed to payment delay. Good guess they are poorer and older.
— David Frum (@davidfrum) April 15, 2020

I guess voters understood Republicans wanted them to risk their health to vote in person. I assume that a few weeks from now we will read about people who died because they voted.
