Questionable? Outright wrong? Can’t you say they lied?

When an immigration agent shot a man in the leg last month in Minnesota, the Trump administration rushed to sell a version of events that demonized the wounded man. It was the latest instance of the U.S. government providing an account of a shooting that later proved questionable or outright wrong.
