Lamar Jackson has the best ratio of boom/bust plays in the NFL this season. He leads the NFL in boom percentage and has the second-lowest bust percentage(For those unfamiliar with the terms- think of it in terms of what you'd consider "high value" and "negative value" plays)

More bad CNN coverage

No wonder ratings are down

this is how cnn and the rest of the mainstream media advocates for a right wing agenda. by adopting gop framing as "the common sense approach" and then getting democrats to supposedly argue *against* common sense, the entire enterprise is essentially shaped like a fox news segment. its total bs.

Why does this story quote long-gone Cillizza? And why does it resort to an anonymous source for the earth-shattering revelation, "Ratings control everything"?At CNN, lower TV ratings and heightened anxieties about what’s ahead http://www.washingtonpost.com/style/media/…

Republicans force reduced IRS funding so they can protect rich people and tax cheaters

IRS funding is working. IRS is recovering more money than they are spending. Republicans are not serious about saving government money since they won’t support IRS funding.

As former IRS commissioner John Koskinen has said: “Underfunding the agency is just a tax cut for tax cheats.” People who actually care about the deficit, much less a government that provides valuable services and protections for regular people, would never do this.

Robert Maguire (@robertmaguire.bsky.social) 2025-01-02T16:39:41.146Z

An IRS once again cut to the bone won’t have the resources to chase after the billions in taxes owed by the nation’s economic elite. That is the point, and everyone should care.
