Covers: Powderfinger

“Powderfinger” (1979) from Neil Young’s album Rust Never Sleeps is my favorite Young song. I like the country version he did with the International Harvesters in 1984 and at Live Adi in 1985.

Covers: Hot Fun in the Summertime

“Hot Fun in the Summertime” (1969) is one of the many great songs by Sly and the Family Stone. I saw them twice in concert and they were incredible. There aren’t a lot of covers because nobody could match the original version.

Too much Trump coverage

The media shouldn’t tweet his rants. That helps him evade his Twitter ban. Any time and space spent on Trump’s lies could be spent on issues or Biden who IS president now.

Tweets on discrimination against Black farmers

Black farmers were systematically targeted by the U.S. government through racist USDA practices, denial of federal aid, and violence. The result: a 90% loss of Black-owned farmland from the early 1900s to the late 1990s.www.naacpldf.org/case-issue/b…
