78s were the first type of standardized phonographs. They were 10″ in diameter and held one song on each side. They were replaced by 33 1/3 and 45 records. Many 78s have been digitized

American Epic is a film series about old recordings which also includes new recordings made on old equipment.

The Thing was released on June 25, 1982. It was based on a novella that had previously been filmed in 1951.
Republican leadership has done nothing to stand up to their extremists. They earned this.
I expect this to reduce interest in immigration to the US, too. That’s bad for the country but fine with Republicans.
