Fire Kellyanne Conway
Kellyanne Conway should be fired for her Hatch Act violations. I don’t expect Trump to do anything. Democrats will push for her firing but Republicans obviously will let the Trump administration get away with anything.
The presumptive penalty for violation of the Hatch Act is dismissal. When I was a federal employee, I received extensive training on this point.
— Renato Mariotti (@renato_mariotti) June 13, 2019
Why should Kellyanne Conway be treated differently from any other federal employee? She has violated the Hatch Act multiple times. https://t.co/IotIDH4pLQ
Elijah Cummings on Kellyanne Conway: “Complying with the law is not optional. President Trump should terminate Ms. Conway’s employment immediately in light of these dozens of violations of federal law.“

1) #SCOTUS has repeatedly held that government employees have very limited First Amendment rights _as_ employees.
2) No one has deprived @KellyannePolls of anything; this is a recommendation to terminate her (wholly discretionary) gov't employment. https://t.co/f59m2nCBB3

I was just standing in an office in the WH press office when Kellyanne Conway came in. I asked for her reaction to this. She pointed to the door and said “can you leave, please?” Later, I asked her again, and she said: “I have no reaction. Why would I give you a reaction?“ https://t.co/DZWKJsQLQb
— Eamon Javers (@EamonJavers) June 13, 2019
This legal conclusion comes as no surprise. The surprise — shock, actually — would come if Trump were to act on this recommendation and fire Ms. Conway. He obviously won’t. https://t.co/RtlyOzby8F

Elaine Chao’s family ties to China and favoritism for her husband’s state
Elaine Chao may be the most corrupt Trump cabinet member. What a bunch of grifters.
The Transportation Department under Secretary Elaine Chao created a special path for her husband Mitch McConnell’s favored projects as he prepared to campaign for re-election https://t.co/a253VaoB94
— Natasha Bertrand (@NatashaBertrand) June 10, 2019
While McConnell refuses to work on an infrastructure bill for the country, his own state gets special access to new projects because Trump appointed his wife to run the Department of Transportation.

Trump lies about Flynn
He was warned several times not to hire Flynn. He’s just lying.
Trump was warned about Flynn by Obama, Comey, and Yates.
— Renato Mariotti (@renato_mariotti) May 17, 2019
His response was to attack all of them and stick with Flynn until he had already lied to the FBI and Pence.

Barr is a liar and Trump stooge
He represents Trump, not the country. He should not be attorney general.
AG Barr flat-out LIED to the American people about the Mueller report’s incrimination of President Trump. He’s been outed as a total fraud. We can’t let Barr — or Trump — get away with such gross abuse of power. Barr must be impeached if he doesn’t resign first.
— Laurence Tribe (@tribelaw) April 30, 2019
AG Barr is a disgrace, and his alarming efforts to suppress the Mueller report show that he's not a credible head of federal law enforcement. He should resign—and based on the actual facts in the Mueller report, Congress should begin impeachment proceedings against the President.
— Elizabeth Warren (@ewarren) May 1, 2019

2) Accuses the FBI of lying?
3) Lies to Congress?
4) Refuses to comply with a subpoena?

In the land of short memories: As Barr skips House hearing due to use of staff attorneys to ask questions, remember Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee brought in an outside attorney to question Christine Blasey Ford during Brett Kavanaugh confirmation.

Wow—Barr just now:
— Andrew Desiderio (@desiderioDC) May 1, 2019
“I have been told during the break that a lesser kind of briefing, a security briefing that generally discusses general threats, apparently was given to the campaign in August”

Short summary of tonight's speech by Rod R:
— Ronald Klain (@RonaldKlain) April 26, 2019
1. It was awful that Obama – who publicly outed the Russian plot – didn't do more to stop it
2. It's no big deal that Trump, and his family, and his campaign, still deny that it ever happened.https://t.co/KjIt7UJ1gI
The big picture on Rod is extremely complicated. He played a thoroughly dishonorable role in the Comey firing. He then appointed Mueller. He protected Mueller from Congress. He also played both sides of the fence with respect to Trump. He gave far too much information to Congress
— Benjamin Wittes (@benjaminwittes) April 26, 2019
WOW. After the NYT reported last year that Rod Rosenstein was willing to wear a wire to record Trump, Rosenstein sought to defuse the situation by assuring Trump that he "was on his team," according to people familiar with the matter.

Kushner downplays Russian meddling
This is just another lie
Kushner said that the Mueller probe was worse for the country than the Russian actions. Which side is he on?

Robert Mueller: "The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion."
Kushner is minimizing the impact of a foreign adversary working to upend a presidential election. How can we expect the White House to take 2020 election security seriously when a senior adviser’s talking points sound like they were written by the Kremlin?https://t.co/5pBNNtv7oD
— Josh Campbell (@joshscampbell) April 23, 2019
This was not a "couple of Facebook ads." The Russians not only purchased online ads but also, according to DOJ, hacked into state election databases and stole sensitive voter information of 500,000 people. This was an attack on our democracy.https://t.co/wEsnGAaoxB
