Trump has repeatedly tied crime and immigrants. It’s not true. Studies have shown that immigration does not increase crime. This is just another example of Trump bigotry. Sad!

Trump puts the white into the White House
Have you seen the almost all-white photo of the current White House interns? Of 206 interns, there are three black men and zero black women.
Update: The photo only has 91 interns according to this article. Apparently, the 206 total represents the summer and spring total.
This is just another example of the lack of diversity in the Trump administration.
The man is a bigot and only cares about his voters. I don’t see how anyone can deny that. Sad!
HUD is reducing efforts to enforce fair housing laws
This article points out how the Trump administration intends to… “roll back the Obama administration’s attempts to reverse decades of racial, ethnic and income segregation in federally subsidized housing and development projects.”

Police killings of unarmed black men are not a “local issue”
I strongly recommend this column from the Washington Post.
As it says: “…Trump, and his staff, repeatedly show that they do not understand the major issues impacting black Americans.”
Trump has no comment on Stephon Clark
As pointed out in this tweet from Toure, Trump called Roseanne but didn’t call Stephon Clark’s family.
Symone Sanders had excellent points on CNN:
The White House called the shootings of Stephon Clark and Alton Sterling “local matters”. Trump wouldn’t comment on them but he had something to say when a white person was killed by an illegal immigrant because that appeals to his base.
Just more examples of Trump’s bigotry. Sad!

I can understand how people voted for Trump if, for example, they are opposed to abortion. I can’t understand how anyone could consider a vindictive, lying, philandering, incompetent bigot to be a role model. Sad!

If you don’t think Trump is a bigot….
If you don’t think Trump is a bigot, you probably fall into one of two categories:
- You’re a bigot, too. Certainly, not all Trump supporters are bigots but many of them are.
- You are not a member of a group that has been attacked by Trump. You’re not African-American, Muslim, Mexican, Native American, from a “shithole country”, Jewish, etc. He has also attacked women. I think a lot of people ignore Trump’s bigotry because it doesn’t apply to them. Sad!
57% think Trump is a racist
A recent poll showed that 57% think that Trump is a racist. I agree.
However, Chris Cillizza makes the point that it might mean that people answer yes if they don’t like Trump.
This article notes that racism doesn’t make a big impact in historical rankings of presidents. Sad!
