Trump takes credit for reduced African-American unemployment but the rate is just continuing the trend from the Obama administration. See the chart here. Of course, Trump doesn’t address the problem that it is still much higher than the white unemployment rate. Sad!

Russian bots are still at it
Russian bots are still sowing discord in the US. Russia wouldn’t do this if it wasn’t working. I would call their positions pro-Trump since they align with his interests.
After the Parkland shooting, they posted anti-gun control messages. They’re even pushing the conspiracy theory that the shooting never happened. Here’s another article on pro-gun bots.
Russian bots also promoted the release of the Nunes memo.

Covers: Atomic Power
The original version (as “The Great Atomic Power”) was by the Louvin Brothers from 1962 during the height of concerns about nuclear war. Uncle Tupelo covered it in 1992.
Covers: Suspicious Minds
Mark James, the song’s author, recorded it in 1968. Elvis Presley covered it very successfully in 1969 with the same producer and a very similar arrangement.
The Fine Young Cannibals covered it in 1985 and Dwight Yoakam recorded it in 1992.

Curtis Mayfield’s 1972 original version was in the Superfly soundtrack in instrumental form. “Freddie’s Dead” was covered in 1988 by Fishbone.
Let’s not forget Trump’s accusers
It’s obvious that Trump doesn’t care what happens to women; he will always defend a man accused of sexual misconduct (unless they’re a Democrat). Let’s not forget Trump’s accusers. There are many of them, you will find a different count in different articles. I linked to three of them below. It’s over 10 and under 20…I guess.
Trump says they’re all lying but I believe the women. Do you think 10 or 15 women would have made this up? I am sure it is painful for them to tell their stories and recall Trump’s disgusting behavior. They are not getting money. We have the Access Hollywood tape where Trump admits he grabbed women. Sad!
Another Trump lie
Trump used an accident in which a Border Patrol agent was killed to inflame anti-immigrant sentiment. Trump and other Republicans treated this as an attack on the agent but there has been no proof of that. The FBI conducted over 650 interviews.
Now that we know that Trump’s story is not true, will he retract it? Of course not. He never acknowledges that he ever lies. The original unsupported story got much more publicity than the results of the investigation. Sad!
