Disturbing response to my tweet on Trump’s antisemitism

I was alarmed by the response to my tweet below. I can’t understand why any Jew would support Trump who is clearly a terrible antisemite. As usual, they don’t respond to my concern about the GOP but try to point at Democrats.

Good riddance to Larry Hogan

He admits Biden won and doesn’t support the Trump cult member running to replace him. That’s good. He’s still very conservative and anti-Baltimore. I’ll never forgive him for killing the Red Line.

The White House condemns Trump’s antisemitism. Republicans are quiet

As far as I can tell, the media hasn’t even asked Republicans what they think.

How can they believe this crap?

Nuclear war was a big concern in the 1960s

Putin’s threat to use nuclear war reminded me of how much we were concerned about it when I was young. Concerns about nuclear war were exacerbated by the Cuban Missle Crisis. We had drills at school where we hid under desks. With hindsight, I realize we would have probably been fried anyway. People built fallout shelters to hide underground with provisions to live. The Atomic Cafe is a good documentary on the period.

It was prominent in movies such as Fail-Safe (also a popular and gripping novel) and Dr. Strangelove which featured someone riding a bomb. Science fiction and horror films had monsters created through nuclear war.
