You’re old if you knew MAS*H was a movie before it was a TV show

It was a book before it was a movie – a novel written by a doctor who had served in the Korean War.

The 1970 film M*A*S*H was directed by Robert Altman. I saw it in a theater in downtown Philadelphia and thought tickets were expensive because they were $3.00.

I believe that Gary Burghoff (Radar) was the only actor who played the same role in the film and TV show.

There are three Frank Robinson statues

Does any other baseball player have this? I doubt it. It shows you how great he was as a player and a man. The Orioles, Reds, and Guardians (Indians) also retired his number.

He was fourth all-time in home runs when he retired, the only player to win MVP in both leagues and the first black manager. He was also a fine executive.
