Schools should teach personal finance
They didn’t teach it to us in high school and I think they should have. The states that are doing it or plan to are a mix of red and blue states – this shouldn’t be political. Even the despicable Ron DeSantis supports it.
It’s especially important now since there is fraud online. I know. My personal information was hacked from work records and I have had to cancel three credit cards. I also had my information used to buy an iPhone – I know because I got the bill in the mail! I recently had to deal with a situation where my information was used to try (unsuccessfully) to get a payday loan.

White Tower Hamburgers was a restaurant chain that was founded in 1926. There is only one left. Here are pictures of the old buildings. Here’s an article from RoadsideArchitecture.com.
Architects Paul Hirshorn and Steven Izenour wrote a book about the buildings, White Towers, that was originally published in 1979. It was reissued in 2007. I have a paperback copy of the first edition
White Towers Revisited was an exhibit at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. I saw it and thought it was excellent. Here are two articles on the exhibit.

Now this was a cool car. I had a red plastic model of it. I also lived near the 1964 World’s Fair and went there several times. It was great.
