Additional videos of racist police brutality

This is why most Black folks aren't happy to just "reform" the police. How do you reform a group that thinks the solution to someone asleep in their car is killing them? & this is more than 2 weeks AFTER #GeorgeFloyd & worldwide protests. #DefundThePolice https://t.co/sRd0DXgDsE

Police spending grows as cities have become far safer

In Boston, Los Angeles and Milwaukee, about one in every 10 dollars of local government spending goes to the police. In Minneapolis, it’s about one in every 20 dollars.

Trump attacks Seattle and distorts what is happening there

Covers: Smile

The music for “Smile” was written by Charlie Chaplin and used in his 1936 film Modern Times. Lyrics and the title were added in 1954. The first version with lyrics was recorded by Nat King Cole. It has been covered by many artists since then.

One of them was Eric Clapton who I saw perform it in 1974.

The Jimmy Durante version is used in the 2019 film Joker. In the film, Modern Times is also shown at a benefit.
