Delaney and Bonnie recorded the album Home for Stax in 1968 and it was released in 1969. I know and really like some of their later records but didn’t know anything from this one until I heard the great “It’s Been A Long Time Coming” in the box set The Complete Stax/Volt Soul Singles Volume 2.

“Pleasant Valley Sunday” was a 1967 hit for the Monkees. It was written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King.

“El Paso” is a famous Marty Robbins song from 1959. The Grateful Dead played it often and it was covered by the great Old 97’s.

He won’t do anything about Dianne Feinstein’s indefinite absence holding up judicial appointments. He won’t do anything about Supreme Court corruption. He won’t do anything about blue slips. This is not the 1980s. Republicans are not going to cooperate. Very disappointing.
CNN’s terrible idea to have a Donald Trump town hall
It’s a pathetic attempt to regain ratings. I say this over and over: Don’t put liars on TV.
