Bush appointee) “…called the government’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program “virtually unexplained” and therefore “unlawful.” However, he stayed his ruling for 90 days to give the Department of Homeland Security a chance to provide more solid reasoning for ending the program.”
Trump is a bigot and judges can see through it. Sad!
US colleges are having a hard time attracting foreign students because of Trump.
The article states:
“Universities say they need to continue to attract the world’s brightest students for America to maintain its scientific edge. Trump tweeted about a “breeding concept” in sanctuary cities.
“Taken literally, the most likely explanation is that he’s talking about sanctuary cities as places where undocumented immigrants breed.
Trump lied in his comparison of US and Mexican border laws.
I hate it when he repeatedly claims that Democrats want open borders. That’s a lie!

Trump claims that people are sneaking into America because of DACA but you had to be here by 2007 to qualify for DACA. He blames Democrats but he’s the one that terminated DACA and turned down reasonable deals that would not have been acceptable to the bigots that are a large part of his base. He could have a DACA deal if he wanted one.
Is he lying or is he that ignorant on the facts? I think he’s lying to get his base worked up his most reliable issue – immigration. He says nonsense like “Our country is being stolen.”
He says the Democrats want no borders – that’s just an outrageous lie with no basis in fact.
As this column states about Trump’s underlying message: “The just-below-the-surface message is this: White people made this country great. Brown people are flooding in. They pose an existential threat to your daily life and what the future holds for your children.”

Trump has repeatedly tied crime and immigrants. It’s not true. Studies have shown that immigration does not increase crime. This is just another example of Trump bigotry. Sad!
How much clearer does Mexico have to make it that they won’t pay for Trump’s stupid and unpopular wall? Is it a good idea to damage relations with a neighboring country? Now, Mexico’s president won’t visit the US soon and I don’t blame him.
A Quinnipiac poll from early February shows that 37% support the wall while 59% oppose it. Other polls are similar. Trump would reduce funding for proven methods to protect the border to pay for the wall.
Think about it – if Mexico is sending us their criminals (like Trump claims), why would they pay for a wall that would make them keep the bad guys? Sad!
