I really like this first one. The op-ed says nothing about Trump’s racism such as his reaction to Charlottesville or the hundreds of children still separated from their parents.
You cannot publish a 965-word op-ed excoriating Donald Trump’s “worst inclinations” while omitting any and all references to his racism, bigotry, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism and white nationalism. https://t.co/y7PwGXWBiN

Writing the anonymous @nytimes op-ed is unquestionably a fireable offense. But unless the author is a uniformed service-member, it sure as heck ain’t a crime—to say nothing of “national security.”
Whle he’s at it, what other constitutionally protected speech should DOJ look at?? https://t.co/aLM2gDy7iM

Of course the most vociferous denier of authorship of the op-ed, the most over-the-top denigrator of the anonymous author's motives and character, is probably the true author.#PersecutionAndTheArtOfWriting

Two DOJ officials tell The Daily Beast they’ve been passively resisting Trump since he took office.
"We see ourselves as rebels," one official said, adding that the op-ed marked a perfect time to celebrate. "We even went around fist-bumping each other." https://t.co/0TirTXy2uD

Talking to source inside admin about Times op-ed. His take:
“Having been a part of some successful attempts to thwart Trump’s worst impulses, I would say that the successes are small, tactical, and temporary.”

What if the 10% includes war with North Korea or Venezuela? My view of anonymous is more charitable: https://t.co/qQPnOmmMUj https://t.co/a8sk25YzNN

It says something about the character of the Trump Administration that Trump officials don't simply deny, in a dignified way, authorship of the Anonymous op-ed. Instead, to pander to Trump, they denigrate the author's character and impugn his motives. Sad.

Writing this op-ed was not a crime. Using law enforcement resources to hunt down the writer is an abuse of power. https://t.co/jiofzVOqQa

You do not use the Justice Department to find and prosecute your own staff unless they've committed a crime. But thank you for a reminder of what was once the "law and order" party, who thought Barack Obama was an out-of-control dictator, has sunk to defending. https://t.co/TvqFAHcXvv

WH has narrowed down search for anonymous op-ed writer to a few suspects, I’m told. Trump is “obsessed” with finding the person but Kelly has advised him to let it pass. Trump is also said to be mad at Shine over handling of Woodward book. “We should get Hope back here,” he said.
