“The document departs from the council’s long tradition of delivering sober, albeit partisan, studies on current questions confronting economic policymakers, such as the value of tax cuts or the effects of increased corporate concentration. Instead, the report seeks to tar Democrats by linking them with the failed economic policies of communist governments in China, the Soviet Union and other countries.”
He’s doing this with Social Security judges too. He treats everything as partisan.
This will do long-term damage to the country. When the Democrats are in charge, should we reasonably expect them to go back to a non-partisan process?
She was inspecting Zinke and has been replaced with a political appointee. If Democrats win the House, they should investigate this. Republicans have not held the Trump administration accountable and that will change.

He said the idea for the citizenship question came from the Justice Department. Now we learn it was political (like many of us suspected). Sad!
It’s all legal, too and Trump has made it easier for real estate tycoons to avoid taxes.

“The Trump administration was in a position to clean up the tax code and promised to get rid of some of the complexity that certain taxpayers use to their advantage,” said Victor Fleischer, a tax law professor at the University of California, Irvine. “Instead, they doubled down on those provisions, particularly the ones they have familiarity with to benefit themselves.””
This is one reason we need to see Trump’s tax returns.
