Trump Tower meeting – Trump’s new tweet
Trump now claims that the Trump Tower meeting was legal. I don’t think so – the Trump campaign should have reported the Russians to the FBI. Trump and his associates repeatedly lied about the meeting before the admission that it was about getting dirt on Clinton. I think Trump, Jr. is in legal trouble so Trump just tries to fight back on Twitter to distract us.
Orrin Hatch is a hypocrite and liar
And let’s not forget how Republicans didn’t even give Garland a hearing and blocked other Obama judicial appointments.
The hypocrisy is amazing. Sad!
Every Western European country except Italy has had faster median income growth than the US
Trump won’t prevent Russian election interference
Newspapers are shrinking
This is bad for America. The Trump tariffs on newsprint are adding to the decline caused by the Internet. A free press is essential and local news cannot be covered well by national outlets.
Support your local newspaper by subscribing to the paper or online version.
Trump’s voting commission was a sham
This really isn’t news. It was obvious from the start.
Trump was wrong to attack LeBron James
LeBron James has been a great asset to America. He’s not just a great basketball player, he devotes millions of dollars and his time to his hometown of Akron and elsewhere. He gave a great interview to Don Lemon. I recommend watching it here.
Trump couldn’t deal with it. Trump used his charity to buy pictures of himself. Trump went racist to appeal to his base by insulting the intelligence of James and Lemon. (This is similar to his terrible baseless comments on Maxine Waters’ IQ.
Fortunately, a lot people defended James including Michael Jordan and the First Lady.

Reasons why the Democrats may not win the House in 2018
Good Washington Post analysis of reasons why the Democrats may not take the House back.
Don’t forget this: Because of gerrymandering and voters self-sorting into congressional districts “Some independent analysts think Democrats will need to win the popular vote by seven to 11 percentage points just to get a bare majority. While seven points is firmly in doable territory — for a wave election at least — 11 points is a historically large margin.”
Don’t compare Democrats to Nazis
Don’t compare Democrats to Nazis. That’s unacceptable!
