Republicans in three states refuse to do what the voters wanted. Sad.
Nashville Skyline is 50
Bob Dylan’s Nashville Skyline was released on April 9, 1969. It continued the country leanings of the last two songs on his prior album John Wesley Harding. It was a lot different than the albums he had produced just a few years earlier of image-laden organ-drenched pounding rock.
This was a straight country album and didn’t seem very ambitious. It was peaceful during a really turbulent time. The best songs have held up well – I prefer “I Threw It All Away” and “To Be Alone With You” to the hit “Lay Lady Lay”.
Trump campaign makes Barr’s spying statement worse
Barr said he thought that the Trump campaign had been spied on. He provided no basis for his statement. Now the Trump campaign has ratcheted it up a notch by calling it “unlawful spying”. They’re lying about a lie and making it worse. Sad!
I support Representative Omar
I don’t agree with everything she has said but I defend her against the attacks from Trump. His video distorts her message by showing only parts of what she said. She’s already getting death threats and will get more thanks to Trump.
Republicans will do nothing to defend her and Democrats haven’t done enough. This is a strategic move by Trump to divide the Democratic Party and I am sure he will attack people who defend her.
He’s the bigot and should be ashamed of his disgraceful behavior.

Pompeo says that’s just a liberal theory but he’s wrong. Trump is reducing aid out of spite and that will make the situation worse. If the situation in the Central American countries improved, people would want to stay there.

The public wants to see Trump’s tax returns
Trump and his staff claim the election proves that the public doesn’t care about Trump’s taxes since he was elected. That’s a lie.
We need to know about potential conflicts of interest. The returns probably show he pays no taxes or very little. That’s my guess. Why else would he hide them?

Neil Young’s “Winterlong” was originally a previously unreleased song included on his 1977 compilation Decade. The Pixies covered it in 1989 on the tribute album The Bridge.
Young’s version is country but the Pixies stripped the country elements out and bash away in the style of Young albums like Rust Never Sleeps. That’s one of the great things about Neil Young. His restlessness means he will never be stuck in one style of music.
The song goes back to at least 1970 since it’s on Live at the Fillmore
That album was recorded in February and March 1970 but not released until 2006.
